Fujitsu and Tanium have announced an alliance to deliver network security services through the latter's cloud platform. As per the terms of the deal, Fujitsu will integrate their CloudProtect Real-time Visualization Service into Tanium's platform to build business resilience by reducing the frequency of disruptions and accelerating recovery.

According to Fujitsu, a high volume of internet data coupled with businesses accelerating their reliance on the cloud has led to unprecedented levels of risk and threats to IT environments. They claim that grasping the real-time status of all endpoints, connected to complex corporate networks simultaneously, is difficult and further complicates cyber risk countering tactics.

By partnering with Tanium, Fujitsu claim that endpoint visualisation in real time, using the former's platform, will allow enterprises to mitigate cyber attacks. They say that with this new service, Fujitsu will be able to provide enterprises with monitoring and maintenance capabilities by grasping the application status of real-time patches, unauthorized communication and malware traces.

Tanium say that through this alliance, enterprises can leverage their platform with Fujitsu's dashboard display in order to secure virus-affected terminals of the network. They further added that Fujitsu's CloudProtect Real-time Visualization Service will allow customers to grasp and manage the status of the endpoints used by all employees in real-time.

Fujitsu believe that by enabling network administrators to quickly deal with vulnerabilities and terminals infected with a virus, customers adopting the service can continue to use the cloud safely. They say that customers can also avail an on-premises version that will be provided by this alliance.
